Our Founders

Elvie is practicing as a Registered Nurse. She has several years of experience practicing in both long-term and hospice care. She also has her certificate as a Disability Support Worker and has worked in that field. Elvie is a very determined, dedicated and committed individual who never stops pursuing her goals. Her hard work and tireless pursuit of excellence in every aspect of her life will help CANE’s mission and vision become a reality.

Stephen is practicing as a Registered Nurse and has over 11 years of experience in long-term care and three years of experience in mental health acute care at the Leslie and Irene Dube Center. He has a background in social work and has previous work experience as an adoption worker with the Ministry of Social Services. Stephen has a strong work ethic and is outgoing, sociable and creative.

Erwin has prior experience owning and operating several small businesses. While in his roles as business owner he exhibited a strong work ethic, exceptional initiative and exemplary leadership skills. He is a very driven and determined individual and is very friendly and sociable.

Rahlyn is currently practicing as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. She also has experience working on other acute care units such as surgery and medicine. Rahlyn is hard working, kind, and compassionate. Her personality embodies the ideals of compassion and caring that CANE seeks to personify. Clients of CANE will benefit from her acute care experience.
